Enter the loan amount, interest rate and tenure to see your monthly EMI and how much of what you pay is interest.
Tip: investing a small SIP alongside your EMI can offset the interest you pay over the loan's life.
Talk to usHow it is calculated
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)n ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1)
where P is the loan amount, r the monthly interest rate (yearly rate ÷ 12) and n the number of monthly instalments.
Example: a ₹50 lakh home loan at 8.5% for 20 years has an EMI of about ₹43,400, and the total interest over the loan is roughly ₹54 lakh, more than the loan itself.
